Is my printer supported?

Almost certainly. We support 12,000+ models from 40+ brands going back to 2004 — inkjet, laser, thermal, label and receipt printers. Open the app and it will detect your printer in seconds; if it's one of the rare exceptions, our team will usually add support within two weeks of a request.

Do I need to install drivers?

No. That's the whole point. Our SmartPrint engine includes a universal driver layer, so the app configures everything automatically over Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth or USB. No CDs, no downloads from manufacturer sites, no IT tickets.

Is the app free?

The core app — printing, scanning and setup — is free forever. SmartPrinter Pro adds cloud printing, batch labels, OCR export and multi-printer dashboards, billed as a subscription through Apple's App Store or Google Play. You can cancel anytime in your store account settings.

How secure is cloud printing?

Documents are rendered on your device and transmitted with end-to-end AES-256 encryption. We never store the contents of your documents on our servers, and print jobs are deleted from the relay the moment they're delivered. We're fully UK GDPR and EU GDPR compliant — see our Privacy Policy.

Can I print labels from a spreadsheet?

Yes — import a CSV or Excel file, map the columns to your label template, preview, and print the whole run. Barcodes and QR codes are generated automatically from your data. Works with DYMO, Zebra, Brother QL and any ZPL/ESC-POS compatible printer.
